Day 1 - The full Armor of God
As we begin our week we are going to need all the protection we can get. Putting on The Full Armor of God is the most logical place to start. I would recommend reciting Ephesians 6: 10-18 at the start of each day. We know that Satan will fight us all the way.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of god, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of the dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Eph. 6: 10-12 NIV
Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist the evil day. And having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, Eph. 6: 13-18 NASB
For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline. 2 Tim. 1: 7 NASB
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the word of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord. 1Cor. 15: 58 NASB
God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. (Selah) Psalms 46: 1-3 NASB
